When firsties say they have to Pee, they have to Pee

I made a huge mistake today, by telling one of my firsties to wait for the restroom, because we were leaving out in 5 min and they could use it then. Well before one minute had passed he had already soiled his pants. OMG, I felt awful. I have to remember when firsties have to go they have to go, I worked with fourth graders previously. However, I love, love first grade :). What a day!

    I'm always super paranoid about this with my kinders! If they are sitting weird, looking weird, etc...i'm like go to the bathroom! I'm your newest follower and from your neighboring state of IN!

    I have learned to interpret the tee tee dance and read potty eyes! You also learn who is bluffing! =) BUT better safe than sorry and wet! It has happened to us all!
